UAE Leaders Unite to Launch Advanced Autonomous Logistics Platform

Abu Dhabi, UAE – 28 January 2026: EDGE, a global leader in advanced technology and defense, has signed a strategic Collaboration Agreement with the UAE’s Technology Innovation Institute (TII), SteerAI, and Micropolis to pilot an advanced Autonomous Logistics Platform (ALP). This initiative represents a major step in strengthening the UAE’s sovereign capabilities in autonomous systems, AI-driven analytics, and smart industrial solutions.

The partnership aims to automate asset movement within and across manufacturing facilities using cutting-edge unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) integrated with sophisticated AI software. The ALP features comprehensive fleet management, navigation, safety, digital twins, situational awareness, operational optimization, and enterprise system integration.

Each partner brings complementary expertise to the project:

• Micropolis will provide the core UGV hardware in multiple variants (M1 and M2) tailored for diverse operational environments.

• SteerAI will deliver the CoreConnect fleet management system, enabling centralized planning, execution, and oversight of autonomous missions.

• TII will contribute advanced analytics and sovereign AI capabilities through TACTICAai, orchestrating data across sensors and platforms into actionable intelligence for real-time operational decision-making.

• EDGE will lead integration and industrialization, ensuring a fully functional end-to-end autonomous logistics solution.

The agreement, formalized at UMEX and SimTEX 2026, underscores the UAE’s commitment to advancing homegrown expertise in UGVs, AI systems, and industrial automation.
