Brasília, Brazil –: The Organizing Committee of the II BRICS Forum “Traditional Values” has announced a landmark partnership with the BRICS Women’s Business Alliance (WBA), including its UAE Chapter, marking a significant milestone for advancing gender-inclusive economic collaboration across BRICS+ nations.
Established in 2020, the WBA and its UAE Chapter play a pivotal role in empowering Emirati women entrepreneurs to access new business opportunities within BRICS+ markets, aligning with the UAE’s strategic vision to become a global hub for inclusive and sustainable trade.
This collaboration follows a formal invitation extended by Fausto Pinato, President of the BRICS Parliamentary Front (Brazil), to Monica Monteiro, Chair of the Brazilian Chapter of the WBA. As an official partner of the Forum, the Alliance will co-lead a high-level roundtable dedicated to advancing women’s leadership in areas such as corporate governance, international trade, financing, investment, and sustainable development—creating a platform for the UAE Chapter to contribute insights that reflect the nation’s commitment to gender equality and inclusive growth.
In its official capacity, the WBA will play an active role in the Forum’s business agenda. Monica Monteiro will lead discussions focused on enhancing the role of women in driving corporate innovation, strategic investment, and international business development across BRICS member states.
The WBA’s participation aims to enrich dialogue between parliamentarians, business leaders, and social change-makers from across the BRICS community. Additionally, the Alliance’s logo will be prominently featured in all official Forum materials, underscoring its integral role in shaping both economic and humanitarian discussions.
Commenting on the partnership, Monica Monteiro, Chair of the Brazilian Chapter of the BRICS Women’s Business Alliance, said:
“We are honored to take part in the II BRICS Forum 'Traditional Values'. Women’s leadership in economic and social spheres is essential to building cohesive societies, enhancing global cooperation, and supporting sustainable development. We believe this partnership will unlock valuable collaboration opportunities and lead to impactful projects across the BRICS+ landscape.”
Boris Tarasov, President of the Worldwide Association “True Values” and Founder & CEO of the BRICS Forum “Traditional Values,” added:
“The inclusion of the BRICS Women’s Business Alliance as an official partner is a major milestone for the Forum. Their expertise strengthens the business agenda and amplifies critical social discussions on women’s roles in economic and humanitarian development. The diversity and professionalism of the WBA will significantly enrich our collective dialogue and foster meaningful joint initiatives rooted in traditional values and sustainable progress.”
The II BRICS Forum “Traditional Values” is scheduled to take place from 15–17 September 2025 at the National Congress of the Republic in Brasília, Brazil. The event will gather parliamentarians, entrepreneurs, cultural leaders, and policymakers from BRICS and partner nations. This year’s theme, “Uniting Traditions, Strengthening Nations,” will build upon the success of the inaugural Forum held in Moscow in 2024. Key focus areas will include culture, healthcare, education, innovation, artificial intelligence, creative industries, and sustainability—unified under the shared traditional values of BRICS nations.
