Google CEO Sundar Pichai has communicated to employees about the anticipation of further job cuts at Alphabet this year, according to a report by The Verge citing an internal memo. Pichai outlined that the focus of these layoffs is to streamline operations by removing layers, aiming to simplify execution and enhance speed in specific areas.
