Abu Dhabi – President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan hosted an important ceremony at Qasr Al Watan, welcoming both newly appointed UAE ambassadors and foreign diplomats starting their roles in the UAE. The event showed the country’s ongoing commitment to strong international relations and partnerships.
The ceremony was attended by top leaders, including His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court. Other senior officials, ministers, and advisors were also present, highlighting the significance of this event for the UAE’s diplomatic network.
During the event, the President congratulated the newly appointed UAE ambassadors and wished them success in their missions abroad. He expressed confidence that they would enhance relations between the UAE and the countries where they will serve. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed also emphasized the UAE’s commitment to building strong, mutually beneficial partnerships that contribute to development and prosperity for all nations.
UAE Ambassadors Taking the Oath
The following UAE ambassadors took their official oath before the President:
* HE Mattar Salem Ali Al Dhaheri – Ambassador to Saudi Arabia
* HE Hamad Ali Bin Alwan Alhebsi – Ambassador to Syria
* HE Fahad Salem Saeed Al Kaabi – Ambassador to Lebanon
* HE Ali Rashid Al Mazrouei – Ambassador to Libya
* HE Khalid Abdulla Humaid Belhoul – Ambassador to Iran
* HE Salem Mohammed Al Zaabi – Ambassador to Pakistan
* HE Khamis Rashid Ahmed Al Shmeili – Ambassador to Montenegro
* HE Abdullah Jassim Al Shamsi – Ambassador to Guinea-Bissau
* HE Saif Mohammed Al Ketbi – Ambassador to Afghanistan
The new ambassadors thanked the President for the trust placed in them and promised to serve the UAE with dedication, focusing on strengthening ties with their host countries.
Foreign Ambassadors Presenting Credentials
In the same ceremony, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed also received credentials from several foreign ambassadors beginning their work in the UAE. He warmly welcomed the diplomats and wished them success in building strong relations between their countries and the UAE.

* HE Majid Thalji Al-Qatarneh – Ambassador of Jordan
* HE Tarek Hassan Mneymneh – Ambassador of Lebanon
* HE Kyaw Kyaw Min – Ambassador of Myanmar
* HE Vladimir Maric – Ambassador of Serbia
* HE Dr Oleksandr Balanutsa – Ambassador of Ukraine
They delivered greetings from their leaders to Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and shared their hopes for continued progress and prosperity in the UAE.
