In the meeting, His Highness congratulated several leaders who had recently been promoted. He shared that these leaders were chosen and trusted by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, the Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah. He wished them success in managing their teams and reaching the goals set by the wise leadership of Sharjah.
His Highness shared that the main goal of the "Tamayuz" Award is to encourage organizations to improve their performance and aim for excellence. He said that the brainstorming session was a great chance to hear new ideas, suggestions, and feedback that can help make the award even better. This includes looking at the award’s different categories and judging standards, seeing what is going well, and understanding what needs to be improved.
He also explained that there are many ways to reach excellence, but the final goal is the same: to make institutions better. He talked about the importance of building a strong culture of excellence, not just for today but for the future. He wants this culture to grow in every organization and among all workers so that it lasts for many years to come.
At the start of the session, everyone, including His Highness, watched a short film. The film showed how big companies around the world compete and how they are trying to bring better rules and systems into their work. It also showed the tough challenges many industries face in today’s competitive world.
The film shared an important message about teamwork and how improving the skills of individuals can lead to great results. When people feel supported and confident, they do their best, and that helps the whole organization do well. The film also said that it’s important to have skilled people who can manage difficult situations and help leaders make smart decisions.
The film ended with the idea that real success comes when everyone works together, not just when individuals try to shine on their own. It also highlighted the value of making decisions after talking with others and not making decisions alone.
Later in the session, more information about the "Tamayuz" Award was shared. The award was created to build a strong culture of excellence and healthy competition between organizations. It helps improve how organizations work, makes them more effective, provides better services, and keeps customers happy. It also helps employees learn new skills so they can grow in their careers.
The session also included updates about the first cycle of the award. It covered the different award categories, the timeline, how people were trained and informed about it, the electronic system used, how entries were judged, visits to workplaces, and some new ideas for upcoming award categories.
Overall, the event focused on working together to reach excellence and build a strong future for Sharjah's institutions.
