Sharjah Executive Council Promotes Maryam Al Shamsi, Approves Housing

The Sharjah Executive Council (SEC) held its weekly meeting, led by His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi. He is the Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and also the Chairman of the Council. During this meeting, the Council made an important decision to promote Maryam Majid Saeed Al Shamsi. She was the Director of the Al Hamriyah Branch of the Sharjah Social Services Department (SSSD). Now, she will become the Department Director under a special job system in the Government of Sharjah. Along with this promotion, she was also appointed as the Director of the entire Sharjah Social Services Department.

The meeting took place on Tuesday at the Sharjah Ruler's Office. His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, who is the Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Vice Chairman of the Sharjah Executive Council, was also present.

The Council talked about several important topics during the meeting. One main topic was checking how well the local government departments and authorities are doing. They want to make sure these departments provide the best possible services to the people in different areas of Sharjah.
