This is not the first time Salman Khan has been threatened.
In April 2024, two men, who were said to be connected with gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s group, fired gunshots outside Salman Khan’s house in Bandra. It was seen as an attempt to scare him. Later, Navi Mumbai Police found out that the Bishnoi gang had made a full plan to attack the actor while he was on his way to his farmhouse in Panvel. This was reported by The Indian Express.
Because of all these threats, Salman Khan has taken extra steps to stay safe. He now has a gun license for his own protection. He has also started using a bulletproof SUV, which many media reports have confirmed. Even though he is facing serious danger, Salman is still working on his movies and has not stopped his film career.
Recently, he released his big Eid 2025 action movie Sikandar. The movie is directed by A.R. Murugadoss and stars Rashmika Mandanna, Sathyaraj, Kajal Aggarwal, and Sharman Joshi along with him. Sikandar was released in theatres on March 30, 2025.
Mumbai Police have said they are taking all steps to keep Salman Khan safe. The investigation into the latest threat is still going on.
