Bollywood star Salman Khan was filming a movie in Mumbai’s Dadar area when a man entered the set without permission. This happened on Wednesday at Shivaji Park, police said. The man acted strangely, and some people nearby asked him why he was there. He replied, “Bishnoi ko bulau kya?” (Should I call Lawrence Bishnoi?).
After this, the man was taken to the Shivaji Park police station by the police. They are now questioning him. The police want to find out how he entered the set and if he was serious about what he said or if he was just trying to scare people.
Salman Khan Has Received Threats Before
This is not the first time Salman Khan has faced trouble connected to Lawrence Bishnoi. In April, there was a shooting near Salman’s home in Bandra, and the Bishnoi gang said they were behind it. Later in October, the gang’s name came up again after former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique was killed. Baba Siddique was known to be a close friend of Salman Khan. A member of the Bishnoi gang said that anyone who supports Salman Khan could also become a target.

Over the past year, Salman Khan has received many threats. Some of these threats were fake, but they still caused concern. Just last month, a 24-year-old songwriter was arrested for sending a fake threat to Salman. The songwriter called the Mumbai traffic police, pretending to be from the Bishnoi gang, because he wanted attention for a song he wrote. The song had mentioned Lawrence Bishnoi, and the man thought this would make it famous.
In October, another man called the Mumbai police and said Salman Khan would be harmed if he did not pay ₹2 crore as ransom. These incidents have made Salman Khan’s safety a big issue for the police.
Why Lawrence Bishnoi Wants to Harm Salman Khan
The Bishnoi gang, known after the killing of singer Sidhu Moose Wala in 2022, has said they want to harm Salman Khan. This goes back to 1998 when Salman Khan was accused of hunting blackbucks near Jodhpur during the filming of Hum Saath Saath Hain. The Bishnoi community believes blackbucks are sacred animals. They were deeply hurt by what happened, and this started their anger towards Salman Khan.
In 2018, Lawrence Bishnoi said in court, “We will kill Salman Khan in Jodhpur. Everyone will know when we take action. People are blaming me for crimes, but I have not done anything yet.” His words made things worse between him and the actor.
Police Are Taking This Seriously
After the incident at the Dadar film set, the police "We are carefully examining the situation." into the matter. They are treating this as a serious issue because of Salman Khan’s past threats. Even though some threats in the past have been fake, the police are not taking any chances.
The police are checking to see why the man entered the set and what he wanted to do. They are also ensuring that... Salman Khan and his team are safe while he continues his work.
