The Dubai Road & Transport Authority (RTA) has announced new truck movement timings for Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, specifically between Ras Al Khor Street and the Emirate of Sharjah, in both directions. According to an official post on their X account, a 'ban time' has been established to manage traffic more effectively. The restricted hours for truck movement are from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., and 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

During these periods, truck drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes, such as Emirates Road, to avoid congestion. Additionally, they can wait in designated truck rest stops until the ban times have ended. This measure aims to alleviate traffic congestion and improve overall road safety during peak hours.
