Nmdc Energy Posts Strong Growth With 41% Rise In Revenue

NMDC Energy has shared its financial results for the first half (H1) of 2025, showing strong growth and solid progress. The company continues to show that its plans and strategies are working well, bringing good results and new opportunities.

Revenue And Profit Rise

In the first six months of 2025, NMDC Energy earned AED8.2 billion in revenue. This is 41 percent more than what it earned in the first half of 2024. Its net profit also rose by 16 percent to reach AED583 million compared to the same time last year. This means the company is making more money and managing its costs smartly.

In the second quarter (Q2) of 2025 alone, NMDC Energy earned AED4.4 billion, which is a 21 percent increase from Q2 of 2024. The net profit for Q2 2025 was AED366 million, showing a 12 percent rise. These results show that the company is growing steadily every quarter.

Strong Backlog And New Awards

One of the main reasons for this growth is that NMDC Energy won many new projects in the first half of 2025. The total value of these awards was AED13.9 billion. The company’s backlog, which is the total value of work it still needs to do, stood at AED49.9 billion at the end of June 2025. This shows that NMDC Energy has a strong list of projects that will keep it busy and earning more in the future.

The total pipeline of projects, which includes projects that the company is planning or bidding for, reached AED66 billion by the end of the second quarter. This shows that NMDC Energy is looking ahead and planning to take on more work to grow even further.

New Fabrication Yard In Saudi Arabia

In Q2 2025, NMDC Energy opened its 400,000 square metre fabrication yard in Ras Al Khair, Saudi Arabia. This yard is now fully operational. It helps NMDC Energy to build large parts and structures needed for offshore oil, gas, and energy projects. The yard makes the company stronger in offshore EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) and modular construction, which are important for large energy projects in the Gulf region. This facility will also help NMDC Energy to grow in the future by doing more complex work faster.

Extension Of Agreement With Aramco

The two companies have agreed to extend their Long-Term Agreement (LTA) for three more years, with an option to extend it for another three years after that. This is an important deal because it means NMDC Energy will continue to support Aramco’s offshore projects for many more years. It also shows that Aramco trusts NMDC Energy’s work and sees it as an important partner for Saudi Arabia’s economic goals.

Recognition Through ICV Excellence Award

The company also received an ICV (In-Country Value) Excellence Award in the Semi-Governmental Manufacturers category at MIITE. This award was given to NMDC Energy because it has reinvested AED17 billion in the UAE economy. This reinvestment helped support small and medium enterprises (SMEs), local suppliers, and workforce development. It shows that NMDC Energy is not only working for its own growth but also helping the country’s economy grow by supporting other local businesses and creating jobs.
