Lenovo and HRDF Join Forces for Saudi Talent Development

With the support of the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) has entered a pivotal agreement with Lenovo Saudi Arabia. This initiative aims to equip 100 Saudi individuals with essential skills for high-demand technical and engineering positions. The deal was formalized during the 21st General Conference of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) in Riyadh, underscoring Saudi Arabia's dedication to developing its skilled workforce.

Through this collaboration, Lenovo is set to introduce its premiere specialized industrial training program in the Kingdom. The initiative will prepare Saudi nationals with the necessary skills to thrive in competitive global environments within advanced manufacturing and tech operations. The training will be conducted both domestically and internationally, backed by HRDF's full support, and aligns with Lenovo's strategic alliance with Alat to boost Saudi Arabia's advanced industrial workforce.

Targeting 100 Saudi candidates, the program will cover vital areas including engineering, production and industrial engineering, materials management, planning, and quality management, ensuring a comprehensive development framework for a skilled labor force that meets the Kingdom's industrial demands. Participants will benefit from practical training opportunities designed to enhance their skills and professional experience.

Each chosen participant will start a full-time role with Lenovo while engaging in the ISTDAM Advanced Talent Development Program. This intensive four-month training course emphasizes core competencies vital for high-tech industrial positions. By integrating training with employment, the initiative bolsters Saudi Arabia’s talent pool while providing valuable exposure to cutting-edge industrial practices.
