Saudi Arabia Aids 519 Yemenis at Hadhramaut Rehabilitation Center

The Prosthetics and Rehabilitation Center located in Hadhramaut Governorate has continued its vital humanitarian efforts, delivering essential medical assistance to individuals who have lost limbs amid Yemen's ongoing crisis. Backed by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), this initiative served 519 people during October 2025, focusing on helping them walk again, regain their strength, and enhance their quality of life.

In the month of October alone, the center facilitated 1,925 medical services. These services encompassed the creation of prosthetic limbs, fitting them for patients, conducting physical therapy sessions, and providing expert medical consultations. The aim of this program is to support both the physical and mental recovery of individuals who have endured traumatic injuries.

Among those receiving treatment, 64% were men and 36% were women. The statistics also revealed that 14% of the patients were displaced people, while 86% were local residents. This blend illustrates the diverse medical needs present across various communities in Yemen.
