Actor Kim Soo Hyun is getting a lot of hate after people said he dated Kim Sae-ron when she was too young. This news came out after Kim Sae-ron died on February 16. A YouTube channel named Garosero Research Institute said the two were in love for many years.

Things got more serious when Kim Sae-ron’s aunt showed a letter. She said Kim Soo Hyun wrote it when Kim Sae-ron was only 17 years old. At that time, he was 30 and working in the army. The letter was written on June 9, 2018, and had deep words about their time together.

In the letter, Kim Soo Hyun called her Saero-Nero in a sweet way. A part of the letter, shared by Koreaboo, said, "Today, the weather changed so much, it felt like I was being pushed in all directions. This beautiful Saturday is a great time to write and think about you, Saero-Nero." He also wrote, "I want to share what I think is nice and special… Even if I cannot see you, I still want to tell you how I feel." He ended the letter by saying, "I don’t want to make things hard for you… But all I can say is… I miss you. Please take care of me."

The YouTube channel also said that Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Sae-ron were in love for six years. There were rumors about them before, but no one ever confirmed them. After this news came out, many people became angry at Kim Soo Hyun. Some people said that he might lose his acting jobs and brand deals. Old army pictures of Kim Soo Hyun also appeared, showing him kissing Kim Sae-ron. Another picture from January 1, 2019, had words written on it saying, "I love you, Sae-ron."

Kim Sae-ron was 24 years old when she was found dead in her house. The police said she died by suicide. Her funeral was held on February 19. In 2022, she got in trouble for drinking and driving. She crashed into things on the road, and even after she said sorry, people were still angry at her.
