In the meeting, they talked about how family-owned businesses help the country grow. They also spoke about ways to make the business world better so these companies can grow more and sell their goods and services in other countries.
The meeting took place at the Crown Prince’s Majlis (a place to meet and talk), and many important people were there. This included His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoon bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Mohamed bin Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, and His Excellency Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan. Many other leaders, business people, and guests were also at the meeting.
The Family Business Council – Gulf started in 2012 in the United Arab Emirates. It is part of a larger world group that helps family businesses grow and last a long time. The Council teaches business families, shares ideas, and helps young family members learn how to become good leaders.
The Council also helps these businesses stay strong, grow in the region, and reach new places around the world. It gives them tools and support to do better in today’s changing world.
This meeting showed that the UAE wants to help family businesses keep growing and stay a big part of the country’s future.
