His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, visited the pavilions at the 40th edition of the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC), which is being held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) until November 7, 2024. The event is conducted under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE.
During his tour, Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed emphasized the critical importance of ADIPEC 2024 as a premier global platform for promoting the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies within the energy sector. He highlighted how these advancements can significantly enhance productivity and operational efficiency.

The Crown Prince reaffirmed ADIPEC’s vital role as an international hub that convenes leaders from the energy, technology, and investment sectors. This platform facilitates discussions on integrating AI to foster sustainable energy solutions. He noted that Abu Dhabi’s hosting of ADIPEC underscores its leadership in innovative climate solutions and demonstrates the emirate’s commitment to utilizing advanced technology to create a sustainable future for upcoming generations.
Sheikh Khaled also explored the new ENERGYai Zone, hosted by ADNOC, which showcases cutting-edge AI solutions designed to shape the future of energy and accelerate the transition towards low carbon growth. The ENERGYai Zone provides an immersive experience with interactive exhibitions, demonstrations, and panel sessions featuring some of the world's foremost innovators and experts in energy and technology.
In addition to visiting the ENERGYai Zone, Sheikh Khaled toured various local and international stands, where he was briefed by exhibitors on innovative energy and technology solutions that promise to deliver greater energy efficiency with reduced emissions.
He was accompanied during his tour by several notable officials, including His Excellency Dr. Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and Managing Director and Group CEO of ADNOC; His Excellency Suhail Mohamed Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure; His Excellency Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State; His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoon bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Court; and His Excellency Saif Saeed Ghobash, Secretary General of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council.
ADIPEC 2024 features ten conferences spanning 16 exhibition halls and brings together over 2,200 exhibitors from the global energy ecosystem, showcasing the latest breakthroughs and innovations that are shaping the future of the energy sector. This includes participation from 54 national oil companies (NOCs), international oil companies (IOCs), new energy companies (NECs), and independent energy companies (IECs), as well as 30 dedicated country pavilions and four specialized industry areas focused on decarbonization, digitalization, maritime and logistics, and artificial intelligence.
