The Lakme Fashion Week 2025, held in Mumbai’s busy BKC area on March 27, was a grand event. The show was organized in partnership with the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) and featured some of the biggest names in fashion. One of the highlights of the evening was Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor, who walked the ramp as the showstopper for designer Satya Paul’s latest collection, Alchemy.

About Satya Paul’s ‘Alchemy’ Collection

The Alchemy collection by Satya Paul was a celebration of elegance and creativity. According to FDCI, the designers David Abraham, Kevin Nigli, and Rakesh Thakore took inspiration from famous mid-century American artists Ellsworth Kelly and Henri Matisse. Their artistic influence was seen in the collection’s bold patterns and creative designs.

The collection was designed for modern women who want style with comfort. It featured flowing kaftans, delicate dresses, and bright tunics. The outfits were made from luxurious fabrics like linen, chiffon, satin, and organza, making them comfortable yet stylish. Some of the pieces were decorated with shiny glass beads, bugles, and sequins, adding extra glamour to the collection.
