In a meeting held in Riyadh on Monday, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, met with President Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, President of the Sudanese Transitional Sovereign Council. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the Extraordinary Arab and Islamic Summit.

During the discussions, the two leaders reviewed the most recent developments in Sudan and exchanged views on the ongoing efforts to achieve security and stability in the country. They highlighted the importance of ensuring peace and strengthening Sudan's progress towards overcoming its current challenges.
The meeting was attended by several high-ranking Saudi officials, including Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Minister of National Guard; Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Defense; Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban, Minister of State, Member of the Cabinet, and National Security Advisor. Also present was Saudi Arabia's Ambassador to Sudan, Ali bin Hassan Jafar, as well as the delegation accompanying President Al-Burhan.
The meeting underscored Saudi Arabia’s continued support for Sudan in its efforts to achieve long-lasting peace and stability. The Kingdom has consistently expressed its commitment to helping Sudan navigate through its challenges and promoting regional cooperation to ensure broader stability in the region.
