His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence, attended the graduation ceremony of the 25th batch of cadets from the Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum Naval College. The ceremony was held in the presence of senior officials, including His Excellency Lieutenant General Issa Saif bin Ablan Al Mazrouei, Chief of Staff of the UAE Armed Forces, and His Excellency Ibrahim Nasser Al Alawi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defence, along with several high-ranking officers and officials.
The event began with the arrival of Sheikh Hamdan, who was welcomed as the patron of the ceremony. The national anthem was played, followed by an impressive military parade where the graduating cadets showcased their discipline, physical fitness, and advanced training. As part of the formal proceedings, the cadets took an oath of allegiance, pledging their loyalty to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and promising to serve and protect the nation.

During the ceremony, Sheikh Hamdan honoured the top-performing cadets, congratulating them on their achievements and dedication. He expressed his pride in their hard work and encouraged them to continue excelling as they step into their roles in the UAE Armed Forces. He also posed for commemorative photographs with the graduates, wishing them success in their careers.
Brigadier General Saeed Salem Al Kaidi, Commander of the Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum Naval College, addressed the attendees with a speech, expressing his deep gratitude to Sheikh Hamdan for his presence and support. He highlighted that the college is a prestigious academic and military institution, known for training students from various countries around the world. He emphasized that the graduation of this new group of officers reflects the college’s continuous commitment to preparing skilled national cadres who will play a vital role in safeguarding the UAE.
Brigadier General Al Kaidi also took the opportunity to thank the country’s leadership for their ongoing support of the Ministry of Defence and the Naval College. He spoke about the rigorous training the cadets had undergone, which included practical field exercises, simulated naval operations, and exposure to the latest maritime security and defense technologies. He noted that this high level of training ensures that the graduates are fully prepared to take on their responsibilities in the service of their nation.
The ceremony concluded with a sense of pride and achievement, as the newly graduated cadets looked forward to embarking on their journey in the UAE Armed Forces, equipped with the skills and knowledge they had gained at the Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum Naval College
