Fujairah Ruler meets Fujairah Charity Association Board members

His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Ruler of Fujairah, met with His Excellency Saeed Mohammed Al Raqbani, Chairman of the Fujairah Charity Association, along with members of the association at his palace in Al Rumailah. The team shared details about the charity’s projects and activities that help people in need.

Sheikh Hamad praised the charity’s work in helping the community. He said their efforts in supporting the poor and improving their services are important. He also encouraged them to continue their good work to help more people.

Saeed Al Raqbani thanked Sheikh Hamad for his strong support. He said the charity would not have been successful without the help of the Ruler of Fujairah. His support has made it possible for the charity to grow and reach more people.

In the past three years, from 2022 to 2024, the charity helped 1,171,738 people. The total cost of these efforts was 199,882,551 dirhams. The support included aid for poor families, school students, sick people, orphans, and people with disabilities. The charity also ran programs to help families start small businesses, provide food, and give relief aid.

With guidance from Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi and the follow-up of Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, the charity sent 2,370 tons of relief aid to Syria, Lebanon, Turkey, and Gaza. This was part of the UAE’s ongoing efforts to help people in crisis.
