Fujairah Crown Prince Opens Fujcon 2025 Maritime Forum

Fujairah, UAE – His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, the Crown Prince of Fujairah, joined the opening of Fujcon 2025, a big meeting about ship fuel and sea trade. He said Fujairah is now very important in the world for helping ships get fuel and giving good marine services.

This is the 14th time the Fujairah International Bunkering and Fuel Oil Forum (Fujcon) is being held. This year’s theme is “Achieving Maritime Vision: Sailing Towards Sustainable Fuels.” It means people at the event are talking about how to use clean fuels for ships in the future.

The event is supported by His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, the Ruler of Fujairah. It is hosted by the Fujairah Department of Industry and Economy and the Port of Fujairah. The meeting is happening at the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel in Fujairah.

Sheikh Mohammed thanked the Ruler of Fujairah for always helping with such events. He said Fujairah wants to be a world leader in clean energy, especially for sea travel. He also said the emirate is doing a good job in ship fuel services, building better sea trade places, and helping the world with sea transport.

He also praised the forum for bringing in smart people from around the world. These people talk about the problems in the sea trade world and share good ideas to solve them.

Mr. Mohammed Obaid bin Majed Al Alili, who leads the Fujairah Industry and Economy Department, gave an important speech. He said this event shows that Fujairah is ready to support the world in using clean energy. He also said this fits with the UAE’s goal of using clean energy and cutting pollution in the future.

He shared exciting news too — Fujairah will host World Maritime Day in September 2025. This is a big international day to support safe, clean, and green oceans.

Dr. Mohammed Saeed Al Kindi, head of the group that planned this event, said the talks will focus on helping sea travel grow in a clean and smart way. He said there will be new chances in the sea business for many people.

Mr. Saif Ghobash Al Marri, from the UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, also spoke at the event. He said the UAE is trying hard to follow the best ways in sea fuel and energy and turn hard problems into smart solutions.

This forum brings together experts, sea trade leaders, and big decision-makers to help make better plans for the future of sea fuel and clean energy.
