A fitness influencer named Sunaina has shared her personal method of reducing belly fat caused by PCOS, a hormonal condition that makes weight loss more difficult for many women. She explained that when she first started her journey, she believed that doing a lot of cardio exercise would help her burn fat faster. But later she learned that doing too much cardio can increase stress in the body, which raises a hormone called cortisol. High cortisol can cause more belly fat, more hunger, and more tiredness.

Sunaina said that instead of running for long hours or starving herself, she made small but steady changes to her daily routine. She said that doing these steps regularly helped her lose belly fat in a healthier way. She focused on strength training by lifting weights three to four times a week. She added only light cardio two times a week instead of hard cardio every day.

She also made sure to walk 8,000 to 10,000 steps daily. She said that being consistent with daily steps is better than doing heavy exercise once in a while. She stressed the importance of sleep and made sure to sleep for 7 to 8 hours every night, because without enough sleep, the body cannot recover and weight loss becomes harder.

For her diet, she made sure to eat enough protein every day because protein supports muscle growth and improves metabolism. She also added healthy fats to her meals, such as nuts, seeds, ghee, and avocado. She said these healthy fats helped her control cravings and support hormone balance.

Sunaina also worked on reducing stress, because stress increases cortisol levels. She avoided processed foods and sugar, as these can cause a sharp rise in insulin, which can make fat loss harder. She made sure to drink enough water, about 3 liters a day. She also cut down on alcohol and sugary drinks because they slow down fat burning.

Instead of cutting carbohydrates completely, she chose healthier carbs like rice, oats, potatoes, and fruits. She added fiber to her meals by eating vegetables, chia seeds, and flax seeds, which helped her with digestion and reduced bloating. She also paid attention to her posture while working out because good posture helps in better muscle engagement.

Finally, she made a habit of walking for 10 to 15 minutes after every meal, which helped with digestion and controlling blood sugar levels.

Her message is that losing belly fat with PCOS is not about punishing the body with long workouts or strict diets. It is about training smart, eating balanced meals, sleeping well, managing stress, and staying consistent. She said that these habits helped her not only lose weight but also feel more energetic and healthy.
