The Family Care Authority (FCA) has officially launched the Community Awareness Campaign under the One Family Initiative, a new program designed to engage the Abu Dhabi community. This initiative seeks to address a range of social issues such as family disagreements, personal challenges, and bullying, while also fostering unity and resilience among community members.
The campaign will kick off with a series of community events in Al Dhafra, followed by additional activations in Al Ain and Abu Dhabi City. These events are designed to raise awareness about the comprehensive services offered by the FCA, allowing more community members to benefit from the Authority's support.
Her Excellency Salama Al Ameemi, Director-General of the Family Care Authority, emphasized the importance of the initiative during its launch. She explained, “Guided by the vision of our leadership and our fundamental belief that strong families are the backbone of a resilient community, this campaign aligns with our commitment to the Abu Dhabi Family Wellbeing Strategy. We are dedicated to providing high-quality services that adhere to international best practices while remaining deeply rooted in our cultural values.”

Al Ameemi highlighted that the campaign’s goal is not only to raise awareness about the FCA’s services but also to prevent family-related challenges before they arise. “By launching this initiative, we aim to ensure that all members of the Abu Dhabi community are aware of the services we offer and can easily access the help they need. Our approach is proactive, offering preventive measures to tackle social challenges early on,” she said.
The FCA’s services include psychological counseling, social support, and educational workshops designed to empower families to overcome challenges with strength and resilience. Al Ameemi added, “We believe that by providing these services, we are not just solving problems but also nurturing an environment where families can grow and thrive. Our aim is to create confident, capable generations that can take on their responsibilities and contribute to the prosperity of Abu Dhabi.”
The campaign will continue to roll out with events across Abu Dhabi, including locations such as Al Dhafra Majalis, Liwa Village, Ghayathi, and Zayed City. These gatherings offer the public a chance to connect with FCA representatives and access support services. The Authority’s reach is extensive, ensuring that all residents, citizens, and visitors are able to access services where they live.
For those in need of FCA’s support, community members can contact the call center at 800 444 or visit one of the FCA’s service centers located in Abu Dhabi, Al Dhafra, and Al Ain. Through this campaign, the Family Care Authority is reaffirming its commitment to building stronger families and a more resilient community throughout Abu Dhabi.
