Emirates’ Airbus A380 will be equipped with 14 private First-Class suites, 76 lie-flat Business Class seats, 56 Premium Economy seats, and 338 Economy Class seats. Emirates’ friendly and knowledgeable cabin crew will be available at the airshow to offer detailed information and showcase the aircraft’s standout features.
The airline, which is the largest operator of the Airbus A380 globally, is undergoing a significant retrofit program, valued at more than US$4 billion, to ensure a consistent and elevated travel experience for passengers. This in-house program is one of the largest in the aviation industry, with 40 A380 aircraft already completed, featuring the latest cabin products and enhancements across all classes.
Emirates has long maintained strong ties with the Kingdom of Bahrain, serving the country’s skies since 2000. The airline currently operates 21 weekly flights between Dubai and Bahrain on its Boeing 777 aircraft, connecting passengers to over 140 destinations worldwide. To date, Emirates has flown more than 7.8 million passengers to and from Bahrain, completing nearly 48,500 flights. The airline has also deployed its Airbus A380 to Bahrain during peak demand periods, such as holidays and special events, further solidifying its commitment to meeting the needs of travelers in the region.
At the Bahrain International Airshow, Emirates’ participation will not only highlight the airline’s dedication to innovation and excellence in aviation but will also showcase the airline’s optimistic outlook for the future. According to His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and CEO of Emirates Airline & Group, this year’s participation underscores Emirates’ commitment to supporting a vibrant regional aviation industry and reflects the strong relationship between Emirates and Bahrain. He further emphasized the airline’s confidence in the future of aviation, noting that both Emirates and flydubai aircraft will be prominently featured at the event.
Emirates looks forward to engaging with aviation industry partners and peers during the airshow, with the goal of fostering positive change and continuing to push the boundaries of innovation in global aviation.
