Dubai Municipality is taking proactive steps to elevate the city's appeal and ensure an exceptional quality of life for both residents and visitors during the upcoming Eid Al Adha holiday. In a recent announcement, all public beaches under the Municipality's supervision will be exclusively reserved for families. This initiative underscores Dubai Municipality's commitment to enhancing entertainment and tourism offerings to bolster the Emirate's attractiveness as a premier destination.
The eight public beaches managed by Dubai Municipality, designated exclusively for families during Eid Al Adha, include prominent locations such as Khor Al-Mamzar Beach, Cornish Al-Mamzar, Jumeirah 1, Jumeirah 2, Jumeirah 3, Umm Suqeim 1, Umm Suqeim 2, and Jebel Ali Beach.
Eng. Ibrahim Mohammad Juma, Director of Public Beaches and Water Canals Department at Dubai Municipality, highlighted that this decision aims to efficiently manage the anticipated surge in visitors to Dubai's beaches during Eid Al Adha. By reserving these areas for families, the Municipality seeks to offer them a unique opportunity to revel in the Emirate's premier tourist destinations during the holiday.
Juma emphasized the Municipality's comprehensive safety measures, with a specialized team of 140 highly trained personnel equipped with cutting-edge logistics gear to enhance beach rescue operations and uphold top-notch security standards for beachgoers. Additionally, a dedicated 65-member Field Supervisory Team will oversee beach operations during Eid, ensuring families' comfort and well-being.
Dubai Municipality, in collaboration with strategic partners, will closely monitor all beach operations throughout the Eid Al Adha holiday period. This concerted effort aims to provide a seamless and enjoyable experience for families, emphasizing safety, convenience, and leisure.
Managing water channels and public beaches in the Emirate, Dubai Municipality prioritizes infrastructure development and the provision of advanced services and facilities. These endeavors are geared towards offering residents and tourists alike an unparalleled recreational experience, enhancing their overall well-being and happiness.
It's worth noting that the public beaches in Dubai hold the prestigious international Blue Flag Certification, symbolizing adherence to the highest standards in marine water quality, environmental education, management, public safety, and services. This accolade further underscores Dubai's commitment to excellence in providing exceptional beach experiences.
