At the wedding, Kim wore a beautiful diamond necklace made by famous designer Lorraine Schwartz. But during one of the wedding events, Kim told Isha Ambani that one of the diamonds from her necklace had fallen off, which caused a bit of panic. People were curious about how much the lost diamond was worth.
On March 16, a jewelry expert from the US, Julia Chafe, who had also attended the wedding, shared on Instagram that the diamond was worth "1 zillion dollars." She said, “This story was so crazy that I thought maybe these were fake diamonds for the show. But knowing Lorraine Schwartz, they were real. She doesn't mess around. I can't believe Kim didn’t cry the whole night.”
Julia also joked, “All I want to know is who found the diamond and what they’re doing with it. Are they making new jewelry or going on a luxury vacation?”
As for Kim’s outfit, she wore the diamond necklace with a dusty peach-colored lehenga by designer Tarun Tahiliani. The lehenga had beautiful designs with crystals and threadwork. Kim also wore a nath, mang tika, and earrings that matched her necklace.
People are still curious about what happened to the diamond, but for now, Kim's jewelry mishap at the wedding is the talk of the town.
