China’s Forex Reserves Rise to $3.34 Trillion in September

Beijing: China’s foreign exchange reserves reached US$3.3387 trillion at the end of September, marking an increase of US$16.5 billion, or 0.5%, compared with August, according to the latest official data. This steady growth underscores China’s ability to maintain stability amid global financial fluctuations.

The State Administration of Foreign Exchange (SAFE) noted that the rise was influenced by currency translation effects and changes in global asset prices. During September, the US dollar index experienced mild fluctuations, while prices of major financial assets around the world generally trended upwards.
