CMG's Big Launch At BIRTV
During this event, China Media Group showcased its latest and most advanced technology. They set up three special sections to show their work:
CMG Media GPT
An all-media Ultra HD technology system
An intelligent Ultra HD broadcasting matrix
These sections attracted a lot of visitors who were curious to know how AI is changing the way television and media work in China.
What Is CMG Media GPT 2.0?
The main highlight of CMG's presentation was their upgraded AI production platform called CMG Media GPT 2.0. According to China Central Television, this new system is designed to help people working in the media to do their jobs faster and better.
CMG Media GPT 2.0 has six important modules. These are:
Text: This helps in writing scripts and news articles.
Image: It can edit and create pictures for news and shows.
Video: It helps in editing videos and making them look professional.
Audio: This helps in improving sound quality and creating clear audio clips.
Professional Content Creation: It assists producers and editors in creating content that looks and sounds professional.
Intelligent Media Asset Library: This is like a smart library where all media files are stored and organised properly so that people can find what they need easily.
How Big Is This AI Platform?
Right now, the CMG Media GPT 2.0 platform supports 82 AI agent applications. These applications are like small assistants that perform different tasks. They help many channels and programs. In total, more than 30 different programs are using these AI tools. These programs cover many topics such as finance, culture, education, sports, entertainment, and more.
Why Is CMG Media GPT 2.0 Important?
Li Huan, who is a senior engineer at the CMG Technology Bureau, explained why this platform is special. He said:
"One of the most important features of CMG Media GPT 2.0 is how smoothly it works with the media production process. Many of our shows now depend on this system. It can collect and organise all the materials needed for each show. It also understands the style and tone of each program. This means it can write scripts that match how the show usually sounds. This helps announcers and writers to do their work quickly. Because of this, the time taken to produce a show has reduced a lot, and everything runs more smoothly."
In simple words, this AI system makes the job of scriptwriters, editors, announcers, and producers easier. It saves time, improves quality, and ensures that all content matches the program’s style.
What Else Is Happening At The Exhibition?
This year’s BIRTV is very special because more than 500 exhibitors are participating. These exhibitors have come from over 20 countries and regions. They are showing their newest products and technologies to the visitors.
An interesting fact is that nearly 80 percent of the things being shown at this exhibition are being launched for the first time. This means most of the products are new inventions or upgrades that people are seeing for the first time. They include:
New broadcasting tools
High-quality TV cameras
Advanced sound systems
Innovative film editing software
Smart AI tools for news and entertainment production
All these technologies are helping the broadcasting, TV, film, and online video industries to grow faster and work better.
Why Is AI Important In Media Today?
In the past, all media work had to be done by people. They spent long hours writing scripts, editing videos, and fixing sound quality. But now, with AI tools like CMG Media GPT 2.0, many tasks can be done quickly by the computer. AI helps in:
Saving time
Reducing human errors
Maintaining the same style of content
Making work easier for media professionals
Improving the overall quality of programs
Because of these benefits, many companies in China and around the world are investing in AI technology for media production.
How Does This Help Students Understand AI Better?
For students who are reading this news, it is important to know that AI is not only about robots or science fiction movies. AI is being used in real life to make TV shows, write news articles, edit videos, create music, and even design advertisements. If you are interested in media or technology, learning about AI can help you in your future career. Knowing how these AI platforms work will give you an advantage in the modern world.
The launch of CMG Media GPT 2.0 at the Beijing BIRTV shows how China is moving fast towards using AI in every part of life. From television shows to films and online videos, AI is making media production easier, faster, and more professional. Events like BIRTV also help people learn about new technologies, share ideas, and build a better future for media and broadcasting.
This new AI platform by China Media Group will surely bring big changes in how TV shows, news, and films are made in the coming years. It also sets an example for other media companies in the world to follow and upgrade their technology to stay ahead in the competitive media industry.
