BUiD Expands Master of Education Programme with New Specialised Concentrations to Meet Evolving Educational Needs

The British University in Dubai (BUiD) has officially launched five new concentrations within its Master of Education (MEd) programme, aimed at equipping education professionals with the targeted expertise required to meet the evolving demands of the UAE’s dynamic education landscape.

With education systems around the world experiencing rapid change, the need for adaptable professionals with specialised skills and knowledge has become more critical than ever. BUiD’s expanded MEd programme is designed to empower teachers, school leaders, administrators, and education practitioners with cutting-edge knowledge and research-driven practices that address today’s most pressing educational challenges.

The five new concentrations introduced in the MEd programme are:

1. Educational Management, Leadership and Policy
2. Diversity and Inclusive Education
3. Applied Linguistics and Language Learning
4. STEM Education
5. Educational Psychology and Counselling

These focused study areas are carefully aligned with the UAE’s national priorities in education, such as fostering inclusive teaching practices, driving digital innovation, and cultivating forward-thinking educational leadership.
