Dubai’s real estate market saw a strong performance in the first half of 2025, with real estate brokers playing a very important role. The total amount of money brokers made through commissions from these deals was over AED3.23 billion, which is a huge jump from AED1.62 billion in the same time frame in 2024.

Another big reason for this success is the increase in the number of brokers working in Dubai. According to the Dubai Land Department (DLD), there are now 29,577 licensed real estate brokers in the emirate. Out of these, 6,714 new brokers got their licenses in just the first half of 2025.

Women Are Playing a Bigger Role

A very positive change seen this year is the increase in the number of women working as brokers. Right now, 10,100 women are active real estate brokers in Dubai. They were part of 13,424 transactions in the first half of 2025. These deals earned nearly AED1.43 billion in commissions, which is a big number.

By the end of June 2025, there were:

• 1,223 registered brokerage offices

• 78 property valuation offices,

• 118 licensed property valuers

Support from Real Estate Registration and Services Trustees Offices

Dubai also has special offices called Real Estate Registration and Services Trustees Offices. These places help people finish official tasks like registering a property, changing ownership, and getting approvals. In the first six months of 2025, these offices helped complete 114,848 transactions and served 86,398 customers. This is a 15% increase compared to the same time last year.

These offices play a big role in making the real estate system in Dubai efficient, fast, and reliable.
