Bajaj Finance Stock Split & Bonus 2025: Record Date, Share Impact Explained

Bajaj Finance shares saw a strong jump in price during Monday’s trading session after the company fixed the record date for a big stock split and bonus share issue. At 10:40 am, Bajaj Finance shares were trading at ₹9,739 each on the National Stock Exchange (NSE). This was higher than the previous close of ₹9,371.50 on Friday.

What Did Bajaj Finance Announce?
On June 6, Bajaj Finance said that Monday, June 16, 2025, will be the record date for two important things:

A 1:2 stock split

A 4:1 bonus share issue

This means, if you want to get the benefit of these changes, you must own Bajaj Finance shares by the end of trading on Friday, June 13, 2025.

What is a Stock Split?
A stock split is when a company divides each of its existing shares into more shares. Bajaj Finance is splitting each share with a face value of ₹2 into two shares with a face value of ₹1 each.
