Bahrain’s economic forecast for 2026 is poised at a critical juncture, beset by escalating debt levels, ongoing fiscal deficits, and significant structural challenges that weigh on the nation's long-term viability. Despite efforts to reform and diversify, Bahrain struggles with one of the Middle East’s highest debt ratios, with public debt surpassing 130% of GDP.
