Something similar happened on Wednesday evening in New Delhi when more than 200 passengers of an Air India flight to Singapore went through a very uncomfortable time.
The flight, which was supposed to leave at night, could not take off as planned because of technical problems in the aircraft. Passengers, including children, women, and elderly travelers, were made to sit inside the plane for nearly two hours without proper air conditioning. Many people had to fan themselves with newspapers and magazines to stay cool. Later, they were asked to leave the aircraft and return to the terminal building.

On Wednesday, Air India flight AI2380 was scheduled to fly from Delhi to Singapore around 11 pm. The flight was being operated with a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, a modern aircraft that is usually known for its comfort and facilities.
But this time, things did not go smoothly. Soon after boarding, passengers noticed that the air conditioning system inside the plane was not working properly. The cabin became hot and uncomfortable. The electricity supply on the plane also faced issues, making the situation worse.
Instead of taking off at the scheduled time, the flight remained parked at the airport. The passengers kept waiting inside the aircraft, expecting the problem to be fixed soon. Unfortunately, the wait continued for nearly two hours without any clear update.
Passengers’ Struggle Inside the Plane
Sitting inside an aircraft without proper air conditioning is not easy, especially in a city like Delhi where the temperature is often high. The passengers started feeling uneasy and restless. Some were seen waving newspapers and magazines to create some air for themselves.

Making alternate arrangements quickly, such as arranging another aircraft or rescheduling.
