Abu Dhabi has unveiled an innovative artificial intelligence (AI) assistant designed to facilitate around 800 government services, providing residents with a seamless experience. This service, accessible through the upgraded TAMM 3.0 app, enables users to report various issues affecting the city's aesthetics and overall wellbeing. Residents can upload photos of incidents they encounter, which will be addressed through the platform.

Dr. Mohamed Al Askar, the Director-General of the TAMM program, emphasized the uniqueness of this service during the Gitex Global tech show in Dubai, stating that TAMM is a one-stop solution for completing all government services and is one-of-a-kind in the world. To date, they are the only ones to provide such comprehensive services. The TAMM 3.0 app offers an extensive range of services, including obtaining driving and firearm licenses, vehicle registration, parking management, renewing Emirates ID, applying for birth certificates, registering for animal ownership, booking wedding halls, securing loans, and paying utility bills, among other essential tasks.

To access most services, users are required to log in with their UAE Pass. The TAMM platform currently supports approximately 2.5 million daily users, making it a crucial tool for residents in Abu Dhabi. The enhanced version of the app introduces personalized support for government services, offering step-by-step guidance in a conversational format. Users can also enjoy hands-free voice interaction capabilities and multiple payment options. Dr. Al Askar described the new AI assistant as a game-changer, stating that this technology uses AI as a new way to serve customers. It is an intelligent system that knows users and the government services and interacts to complete the service. He demonstrated the efficiency of the platform by renewing his car registration live, which involved paying fines, obtaining insurance quotes, comparing rates, and completing the payment—all within a minute.

The AI system significantly streamlines processes, saving an estimated 97% of the requirement gathering time. It is projected to save 100,000 hours of work each month while also reducing carbon emissions by approximately 55,000 tonnes. Additionally, the app features TAMM Spaces for accessing asset information and a Smart To-Do List to help users track applications and deadlines effectively. The TAMM app also serves as a valuable tool for community engagement, allowing residents to report issues such as waste disposal problems, potholes, and excessive noise directly to authorities. Dr. Al Askar elaborated on this feature, stating that any individual in Abu Dhabi can take a photo and report it to the AI assistant. The system will detect what is wrong with the photo, identify the location, and route it to the concerned government authorities. Action will be taken by the relevant entity, and users will receive an updated photo once the issue has been addressed to confirm that the case is closed. Moreover, an increasing number of private sector organizations are recognizing the benefits of integrating with the TAMM platform, which further enhances its utility for both residents and businesses in Abu Dhabi. This initiative marks a significant step toward modernizing and improving the efficiency of public services in the emirate.
