ABU DHABI, 23 February 2026 – A large fire broke out on Monday morning at a warehouse in the Al Muzoon industrial area of Abu Dhabi. Thick smoke was seen rising across the area, prompting an immediate response from emergency services as efforts began to control the blaze.
Teams from Abu Dhabi Police and the Civil Defence Authority quickly arrived at the scene. Firefighters worked for several hours using specialized equipment to contain the flames and manage the heavy smoke.
Authorities confirmed that no injuries or casualties have been reported in connection with the incident. Emergency teams remain focused on fully extinguishing the fire and ensuring the safety of nearby facilities and workers.
Police advised the public to stay away from the industrial area and urged residents to rely only on official sources for updates, warning against the spread of unverified information on social media.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined. Once the site is fully secured, investigators are expected to begin an examination to identify the source of the incident.
