The Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA) has recently issued a resolution aimed at meticulously regulating the sampling procedures for food and fodder inspection and control across Abu Dhabi. Directed by His Excellency Saeed Al Bahri Salem Al Ameri, Director General of ADAFSA, the resolution categorizes samples into two distinct types based on specific circumstances and desired outcomes.

The first category includes objective samples collected for routine monitoring, data compilation, or conformity assessment. These samples serve to maintain consistent quality standards and regulatory compliance. In contrast, the second category encompasses selective samples taken in response to observed violations or to provide representative units for thorough laboratory scrutiny.
