Among the key upgrades is the introduction of an AI assistant capable of real-time interactions through a chat function, along with AI-enabled bill payments via the improved Abu Dhabi Pay system. The platform has also significantly streamlined existing services such as vehicle license renewals, Emirates ID renewals, pension management, and passport renewals. These enhancements aim to reduce user effort and elevate the overall customer experience, reinforcing Abu Dhabi's vision of establishing an AI-native government and solidifying its position as a digital leader.
His Excellency Ahmed Tamim Hisham Al Kuttab, Chairman of the Department of Government Enablement – Abu Dhabi (DGE), expressed pride in showcasing TAMM 3.0 at GITEX Global 2024, calling it a pivotal component of Abu Dhabi’s Digital Strategy. He stated that this initiative exemplifies the commitment to transforming public service delivery through collaboration with other Abu Dhabi Government entities. By unifying services on an AI-powered platform, the aim is to empower residents to navigate their needs with unparalleled ease, enhancing their overall experience.
His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Al Askar, Director General of the TAMM Program, emphasized that TAMM 3.0 represents a transformative approach for the government. He remarked that by harnessing advanced AI technologies and collaborating with various Abu Dhabi Government entities, they are setting a new benchmark for service excellence and efficiency. The goal is to create a future-ready government that continuously adapts to the needs of citizens, residents, visitors, and businesses.
The AI-driven enhancements introduced with TAMM 3.0 highlight Abu Dhabi's commitment to digital transformation. The platform brings forth innovative solutions that elevate user experience and simplify access to government services. Noteworthy features include Emirates ID and passport renewal services streamlined with real-time photo compliance verification, the introduction of a new widget for requesting credit scores from the Al Etihad Credit Bureau, and enhanced search capabilities for approved medications and medical professionals in collaboration with the Department of Health.
Utility bill payments have been simplified for services from TAQA Distribution Company and the Department of Energy, while the TAMM AI Assistant facilitates an end-to-end conversational experience for vehicle license renewals, including personalized insurance options. Pension management services have been developed in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Retirement Pensions and Benefits Fund, and the enhanced Abu Dhabi Pay includes AI-enabled features for managing bill payments, created with First Abu Dhabi Bank.
The application process for the People of Determination Card has been simplified in partnership with the Zayed Higher Organisation for People of Determination, while smart scheduling and automated booking for household pest control services have been implemented in collaboration with the Department of Health. Improvements have also been made to search and ordering capabilities on the Fodder Market Mini-App, developed with the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority.
TAMM 3.0 is designed to integrate more than 800 services into a unified platform that meets the evolving needs of the community. The platform’s AI assistant, known as TAMM's AI Assistant, offers 24/7 support and is capable of voice interactions in both Arabic and English. By analyzing user behavior and preferences, the assistant customizes services to ensure that every interaction is relevant and efficient, whether users are renewing licenses, paying bills, or accessing healthcare services. This comprehensive approach signifies Abu Dhabi’s forward-thinking strategy in digital governance, aiming to provide a government experience that is not only efficient but also attuned to the needs of its citizens.
