Today, the National Center of Meteorology (NCM) issued a yellow warning for rough seas until 10:00 AM, May 25, in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Despite this cautionary note, most residents can expect a fair day overall.

The UAE is set to experience generally fair weather conditions, with humidity expected to increase during the night and into Sunday morning in certain coastal and internal areas. This heightened humidity may lead to the formation of fog or mist, affecting visibility in localized areas.

According to forecasts from the weather department, temperatures are expected to reach up to 37ºC in both Abu Dhabi and Dubai, indicating warm weather conditions throughout the day.

Winds originating from the northwest are anticipated to be light to moderate, occasionally freshening, which may result in the dispersion of dust across the country. Light to moderate winds are expected to persist throughout the day, potentially contributing to dusty conditions in certain areas.

In terms of maritime conditions, the sea is forecasted to be rough at times, particularly in the Arabian Gulf, before gradually becoming moderate to slight. Conversely, conditions in the Oman Sea are expected to remain slight throughout the day.

While the overall weather outlook suggests fair conditions for most residents, it's essential for individuals to remain cautious, especially those planning maritime activities, due to the yellow alert for rough seas issued by the NCM. Additionally, motorists should exercise caution while driving, particularly during the early morning hours when fog or mist formation may occur, reducing visibility on the roads.
