Parisa Keramati Merges Science and Art to Expose Hidden Threats in Our Oceans | DXB NEWS NETWORK

Art Sets Sail to Save the Sea: Art4you Gallery’s “Brushes for the Blue” live art event, curated by Jesno Jackson at Mehromah Art House, Dubai, spotlighted ocean conservation through powerful visual storytelling. Artists painted on wooden boat panels, symbolizing traditional vessels, to depict marine beauty and environmental threats. The event fused creativity and advocacy, raising awareness about plastic pollution and life below water.

“My art is inspired by my scientific research on using bacteria to remove mercury from polluted water, I explore how invisible threats enter oceans and harm the food chain. Heavy metals silently poison life below water and beyond. My artwork reflects a call for awareness, merging science and art to protect our shared ecosystems. Through my brushstrokes, I speak for the silent suffering beneath the waves,” says Parisa Keramati from Iran. @parissa.art
