Rescue teams have reached the site and recovery operations are ongoing.” Among the deceased were the pilot, co-pilot, and four personnel assisting with relief logistics.

The crash site is located deep in the mountainous terrain of Uttarkashi, accessible only by foot or air. Rescue teams from the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), and local authorities have been deployed.
