Authorities in Abu Dhabi are asking everyone to use only licensed abattoirs (special places for animal slaughter) during the Eid Al Adha holidays. This is to keep people safe from eating contaminated or unsafe meat.

The Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA) said that these licensed abattoirs follow strict rules for cleanliness and safety. Only trained butchers are allowed to do the animal slaughter there.
These butchers follow Islamic rules during the process. This means they handle the animals gently, say the right prayers before the slaughter, and cut the meat in the correct way. This is very important for both religious reasons and to make sure the meat is safe and healthy to eat.
Using proper abattoirs helps keep diseases and infections away and protects the health of families during the special Eid celebrations. Authorities want everyone to stay safe and follow the right way.
