US teen attempts to kill parents becomes upset upon learning the survived: Police

In a shocking incident in the US, a teenager named Jeremiah Estel Blair attempted to murder his parents after Mother's Day had ended, expressing disappointment when they survived the attack. The 19-year-old, reportedly harboring grievances about his upbringing, had allegedly been planning the assault for years. As per reports from the New York Post, Blair shot his parents inside their home near Phoenix on Monday.

Following the shooting, the injured couple was swiftly taken to the hospital for treatment of their wounds. Blair was subsequently arrested and admitted to carrying out the shooting, with police detectives revealing that he expressed frustration over his upbringing, feeling he had been mistreated during his childhood.

Blair's original plan was to execute the attack on Mother's Day itself, but instead, he waited for a few hours before launching the assault. The harrowing incident unfolded when Blair attacked his father as he descended from his room at 5:30 am, capturing the shooting on video. He ominously warned his father that the day "was coming" before shooting him in the arm.

In the chaos that ensued, the father retreated to his bedroom, while his wife emerged to investigate the commotion, only to be shot in the chest by Blair. Shockingly, according to court documents published by Fox 10, Blair exhibited a disturbing level of satisfaction upon learning that his mother was gravely injured.

Despite this, court documents also revealed that Blair showed some remorse for the fact that his parents survived the attack. Despite recognizing the wrongfulness of his actions, he still attempted to fatally shoot them. Blair now faces two counts of first-degree attempted murder and is currently in police custody awaiting further legal proceedings.
