Amidst widespread speculation on social media, the US Police have refuted claims that Goldy Brar, allegedly linked to the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala, was killed in a shooting incident in California. The incident, which occurred in Fresno, California, left one person dead and sparked rumors suggesting the victim was Brar.
According to reports, two individuals were shot following a confrontation on Fairmont and Holt Avenue. However, authorities have identified the deceased as 37-year-old Xavier Galdney, dispelling the rumors surrounding Brar's involvement.

Responding to inquiries, Lieutenant William J. Dooley clarified that the victim was not Goldy Brar, labeling the circulating information as "untrue" and emphasizing that the police department has been inundated with inquiries from across the globe due to the misinformation spread on social media and online news agencies.
Despite efforts to quash the rumors, Brar's notoriety persists. He is wanted for various criminal activities and has been designated a terrorist under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. Interpol issued a Red Corner Notice against him, and there exists a non-bailable warrant for his arrest.
Believed to be affiliated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, Brar gained infamy after purportedly claiming responsibility for the murder of Sidhu Moose Wala in a Facebook post. The singer was fatally shot near his village in Punjab's Mansa district on May 29, 2022.
The incident underscores the power of misinformation on social media platforms, prompting authorities to issue clarifications to dispel falsehoods and maintain public trust in official channels of communication.
