The UAE is a favorite place for festivals this winter. People from the UAE and other countries are visiting to enjoy fun events and learn about the culture.

These festivals are not only for fun but also help grow tourism and bring people together. Since October, these events have become popular spots for shopping, games, sports, and heritage activities.
The Sheikh Zayed Festival is one of the biggest events. It will go on until 28th February 2025. This year, it has new and exciting things to enjoy. There are more than 6,000 activities, 1,000 big shows, and 30,000 people taking part. Visitors from 27 countries are joining, some for the first time. People can watch camel races, dhow sailing, falconry, and enjoy tasty traditional food.
The Mother of the Nation Festival ended on 31st December 2024. It took place in Abu Dhabi, Al Dhafra, and Al Ain. Over 259,000 people visited. It had over 350 fun activities for families and all age groups.
The Liwa International Festival 2025 lasted 23 days. It had exciting activities and fun moments. People who love adventure and camping had a great time. Visitors enjoyed music, fireworks, and desert races.
Hatta is also busy with the Hatta Winter Initiative, which will end on 12th January 2025. It has 120 workshops and 14 activities. Visitors can enjoy smaller events like Hatta Cultural Nights, Hatta Honey Festival, and Hatta Farming Festival.
Global Village is in its 29th season and is loved by visitors. It has 40,000 shows, over 200 rides, and pavilions showing 90 cultures from around the world. This season runs until 11th May 2025. New pavilions from Jordan, Iraq, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh have been added.
The Dubai Shopping Festival, now in its 30th year, ends on 14th January. It offers concerts, shopping deals, prize draws, and fireworks. It is a big attraction for many visitors.
The Sharjah Events Festival was held at Al Majaz Amphitheatre. It brought in 30,000 visitors over four days. It had games, contests, and carnival shows for everyone.
The Khorfakkan Marine Festival was also very popular. It brought in 70,420 visitors in 10 days. This festival celebrated sea traditions with cultural shows, workshops, and live performances.
These festivals show how the UAE mixes its old traditions with new ideas. They make the UAE a top place for winter tourism, offering something special for everyone.
