Dubai Basketball’s U18 Elite team has made history by winning the Basket Cup Sarajevo 2026 in its debut appearance. The tournament was held from April 3 to April 5, featuring some of Europe’s most competitive youth teams.
The Dubai squad became the first non-European team to lift the trophy, demonstrating exceptional skill, teamwork, and determination throughout the competition.

Advancing to the knockout rounds, the team defeated Maribor Mladi and Murska Sobota in the semi-finals, securing a place in the championship match.
In the final, Dubai Basketball triumphed over Ras Beograd with a 69–53 victory. Star player Luka Malović led the team with 21 points, marking his highest score in the tournament.
