Dubai has once again taken the global spotlight as the 19th edition of the Dubai Airshow opened at Dubai World Central, marking its largest and most diverse gathering to date. The event showcases the UAE’s continued push to position itself as a global hub for aviation, space, and defence innovation, backed by a clear focus on future-ready technologies.
This year’s edition brings together an unparalleled mix of exhibitors, delegations, and innovators. More than 1,500 companies are participating, including 440 making their debut, underlining the event’s growing international influence. The airshow is also hosting 21 national pavilions, with Morocco participating for the first time, adding to the expanding global footprint of the platform.
Across the exhibition grounds, visitors are experiencing a comprehensive display of next-generation aircraft, advanced aviation systems, and breakthrough technologies shaping the future of air travel and aerospace capabilities. From the development of some of the world’s largest airports to new-age defence systems and sustainable aviation solutions, the airshow has transformed into a live showcase of industry evolution.
The scale of attendance highlights its global significance. This year welcomes 148,000 visitors, alongside 490 civil and military delegations from 115 countries, reflecting strong international interest in the UAE’s growing role within the aviation ecosystem. With 98 chalets, 120 startups, 50 investors, and a vast 8,000-square-meter exhibition space, the airshow is delivering both commercial momentum and a clear view of future trends.
The event continues under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, whose leadership has played a key role in transforming Dubai into a reliable and forward-focused aviation centre. The airshow’s emphasis on innovation, collaboration, and industry growth aligns with the UAE’s long-term strategy to strengthen its aviation infrastructure and contribute to global technological advancement.
As the airshow runs until November 21, Dubai stands firmly at the crossroads of global aerospace progress—bringing together pioneers, new technologies, and industry-shaping ideas on a single platform that continues to raise the benchmark every year.
