The supplies, which include essential items such as food, medical supplies, and basic necessities, are aimed at assisting women and families who are suffering as a result of the crisis. The aid is part of the UAE’s larger, ongoing humanitarian efforts in Lebanon, carried out under the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The aid shipment is a testament to the UAE's deep commitment to providing assistance to people affected by conflicts and disasters. Sultan Mohammed Al Shamsi, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Development and International Organisations, emphasized the country’s continued support, especially for vulnerable groups like women and children. He specifically acknowledged the leadership of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, the Mother of the Nation, whose continuous efforts empower women in Lebanon and ensure they receive critical supplies in times of crisis.

Al Shamsi also praised the leadership’s vision for long-term aid, focusing on Lebanon’s recovery, including assistance for the wounded, displaced persons, and other affected populations. The UAE is working alongside international organizations to help stabilize Lebanon, ensuring that essential humanitarian support, including food, medical supplies, and shelter, reaches those in need.

The UAE's charity organizations are collaborating with global partners to not only provide immediate relief but also contribute to Lebanon's early recovery and long-term stability.
