UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan participated in the UAE Government Annual Meetings held today in Abu Dhabi. The prestigious event, which gathers over 500 leaders and officials from federal and local entities, serves as a platform for discussing key national initiatives and strategies.

One of the main highlights of the day was a session dedicated to the theme of "Building Emirati Families." The session brought together experts and leaders from various sectors including social affairs, education, human development, and healthcare. They engaged in productive discussions on the importance of supporting family growth in the UAE, recognizing its pivotal role in the overall development of the nation.

During the session, participants reviewed the socio-economic challenges that impact families and explored policies and initiatives aimed at encouraging young people to start families. The speakers emphasized the state's commitment to launching supportive programs and raising societal awareness about the value of strong, cohesive Emirati families. The discussions also focused on long-term policies that should be integrated into the national agenda to further strengthen families in the UAE.

To achieve these goals, His Highness noted, the UAE has ample resources that can be utilized to create a nurturing environment for families.

The President also directed all institutions and entities to develop and implement programs, initiatives, and comprehensive policies that actively contribute to the building and empowerment of Emirati families. This, he said, would play a crucial role in supporting the UAE’s comprehensive national development. He highlighted that the strength and growth of families are essential to ensuring the country’s prosperity, both now and in the future.

The session was attended by a number of dignitaries, including His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister, as well as Chairman of the Presidential Court; His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Deputy Prime Minister; His Highness Lt.
