Abu Dhabi: The Ministry of Justice in the UAE has embarked on a comprehensive initiative to streamline its services, aimed at simplifying, expediting, and enhancing the overall customer experience.
Aligned with the nation's broader objective of delivering world-class government services and facilitating seamless customer journeys, the ministry has implemented significant improvements to its service delivery mechanisms.
These enhancements prioritize customer needs and entail a reduction in procedural complexities, enabling a smoother and more efficient process for users.
One notable aspect of the initiative is the optimization of services related to contract editing and documentation. The newly developed system has significantly reduced the time required to provide these services. For instance, the submission time for contract editing and documentation services has been halved, with a 50% reduction in submission time and a remarkable 70% decrease in the number of required fields.

Similarly, improvements have been made to marriage contract services, with a 40% reduction in the number of fields and a 50% reduction in submission time, now taking just 10 minutes instead of the previous 20.
Furthermore, the documentation service has undergone enhancements, resulting in a 57% increase in service efficiency. This is achieved through a streamlined process that reduces the number of fields in documentation and significantly shortens submission time, from 15 minutes to just 5 minutes.
The successful implementation of these improvements is attributed to the collaborative efforts between the Ministry of Justice's technical work teams and strategic partners, including the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security. By avoiding data duplication and ensuring seamless coordination among stakeholders, the ministry has been able to achieve its service optimization goals effectively.
Through its online platforms and electronic services, the Ministry of Justice has communicated its commitment to ongoing service enhancement, with a continued focus on reducing procedural complexities and addressing the genuine needs of its customers.
