Launched on Monday, this initiative allows individuals to acquire a personal parking subscription for a duration of one month, covering two chosen zones within Sharjah.

This new subscription option supplements the existing array of parking solutions available to both individuals and establishments, underscoring the government's dedication to improving urban mobility and simplifying administrative processes. Subscribers, whether individuals or companies, gain access to paid parking services based on the terms of their subscription, which vary in cost depending on the chosen duration and coverage.

The available parking subscriptions encompass a range of options tailored to meet diverse needs. For personal parking, individuals can opt for subscriptions covering all areas in Sharjah city or choose a more specific plan limited to two areas. Similarly, commercial parking subscriptions offer flexibility in duration and coverage, catering to the requirements of businesses operating within the city.

Additionally, an exceptional parking subscription category provides a 20% discount to specific eligible groups, including retired UAE citizens, elderly residents, government employees, students, and social service beneficiaries. The application process for exceptional subscriptions requires the submission of relevant documentation through approved service centers.

Last year, Sharjah introduced free parking subscriptions for people of determination, simplifying access to parking facilities and fostering inclusivity in public spaces. This service allows eligible individuals to virtually link their subscription cards to the parking system, eliminating the need for physical card placement on vehicle windshields. Moreover, the entire process, from application to activation, can be completed online, streamlining the experience for users.
