The UAE expressed its full support for the recent decision made by the International Court of Justice (ICJ), which issued additional provisional measures against Israel. These measures specifically called for an immediate cessation of military operations in the Rafah governorate and emphasized the urgent need to address the deteriorating humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip.

In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the UAE underscored the importance of achieving an immediate ceasefire to protect civilians and prevent further loss of life in all regions of the Occupied Palestinian Territory. The Ministry also highlighted the pressing need to alleviate the severe humanitarian crisis facing civilians in Gaza, which has been exacerbated by continuous Israeli aggression against the region.

Central to the UAE's stance is the urgent necessity of ensuring the unimpeded delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza. The Ministry emphasized the significance of the ICJ's decision to keep the Rafah Crossing open for the unrestricted entry of humanitarian assistance. This move aims to facilitate the timely and sustainable arrival of aid to those in need within the Gaza Strip.

Moreover, the UAE reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to working closely with international partners to intensify efforts aimed at providing relief to the affected population. This includes the safe transportation of aid by land, sea, and air to mitigate the dire humanitarian conditions exacerbated by the ongoing conflict.

Furthermore, the UAE reiterated its longstanding call for the international community to redouble its efforts in pursuit of a peaceful resolution and the realization of a two-state solution. Emphasizing its steadfast commitment to promoting peace and justice, the UAE asserted its support for the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people and the establishment of an independent sovereign Palestinian State in accordance with internationally recognized resolutions.

Overall, the UAE's stance reflects its dedication to humanitarian principles and its commitment to fostering stability and security in the region. Through diplomatic channels and concerted international cooperation, the UAE aims to contribute to the alleviation of suffering and the pursuit of lasting peace in the Palestinian territories.
